회식데이

하이!

breakfast and dinner were pretty normal.. banana while running to catch the bus.. (becoming a 무단횡단 달인..) and 재육 at 분식집

dinner was much more interesting as we went to have 회식.. the first time i went was on clients tab... the 2nd time which i did not go was just among my team members.. and this time it was us treating the clients!

we went to 한우집 (the picture is 볶음밥 after finishing meat and oh.. that dude has a belly... caught! )ㅋㅋㅋㅋ hmhmh i was expecting something more creative but the meat (we ordered 안심 and 등심) was still very very tender, juicy and excellent! while my team members were busy sucking up to clients.. i kept myself busy just eating and enjoying the meal yum yum..

it was an experience to watch how everyone react.. i tried to observe as much as possible.. this definitely was not a crazy 회식 문화 (there wasnt heavy drinking.. no going around in circles to chug 폭탄주... nobody was forcing alcohol down ppls throat. it was a lot more casual) but still pretty much everyone on my team came.. even the highest up.. to entertain the guests! it is kind of funny cuz the 파트너들 (the highest ranking positions at bcg) were 굽신굽신(complimenting each others looks and intelligence... really silly if you are listening sober.. ) to much lower ranking people at sk (임원들은 않왔어 ㅋㅋㅋ they probably have better things to do)..

in terms of salary and intelligence... 파트너들 probably are 5-10 times better.. no joke ㅋㅋㅋㅋ but consulting is at the end a sales business.. so u gotta suck up!! ppl on my team told me that sk is not as aggressive or 빡새... as other 대기업... 두산, 현대, 포스코 사람들은 무섭대 ㅋㅋㅋㅋ 회식와서 싸우기도 오고 ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ 그런걸 봐야지 재미있을태데 (would pay to see anyone on my team get punched in the face... )

이런거 느끼면서 생각에 잠겨있었는데... one of the partners called us interns.. and told us he wanted to have lunch with us next week lol.... this is going to be soooo like an interview... i better prepare..

oh and i tried to enjoy my soju too cuz i thought it is not good to 술피해. at those places... but the partner 가 나한테 두눈으로 처다보면서... "hey.. u... dont drink anymore.. there is no reason for you to drink here.. just sit quiet n behave.."

ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ 왜이런말을 꼭던저야하지? not like i was 술주정.. i was just sitting there like a quiet dog... they just have to assert their power in one way or another....

oh welll it was still good.. my mouth was happy and my tummy was even happier!

we left early around 10pm... the restaurant was completely empty by then though.. i thought that was weird!
