short trip day!

 

today i took the bus to noho! as you may know. 

in the morning i had my little fix with ricotta cheese and cranberries and a little bit of the french vanilla yogurt i bought last time at wholefoods, which serious eats rated as super creamy! it is super creamy..but it has its price.... high calories whoaaaaaaa

after that i went to yoga and had two math classes... took a quick shower and hopped on to the bus to noho! i didnt have chinese class today cuz we had to hand in the midterm exam today instead. so thats why i hopped on the bus so early! 

and i thought the wine tasting was from two o' clock...-________- but then i got the urgent gtalk from you.

it was pouring so i walked around noho a bit, got some cash in case i wanted to buy some bread from hungryghost, and walked around the big building where raos and harrells are inside, and then walked to hungry ghost! 

their building looked similar, but the inside was way larger! the oven was really cool. it had rotating large slides in stuff filled with cookies pastried, and bread, and even croissants! 

they changed their counter structure a bit, now the cashier is to the left and in the middle they have racks of sourdoughand everything. today i bought the rosemary! i think it could use a little bit of salt, but the bread is really crusty and good. i ripped off a piece and chewed on it. its really chewy! 

 these are the croissants! i dont know they are freshly baked, but didnt look that buttery to me. if you were here, you would have definitely tried one!

and i just stopped by the wine shop for like five minutes and walked quickly to the bus station. but i bought some interesting crackers and grapes and a ginger beer at the store! grapes are so yummy... and with the ginger beer i wanted to try a different cocktail. and also the ginger beer we tried at numpang was pretty good too! wanted to try again..

 this is the surprise carrot cake i got from you today! surprise! surprise!
while i was walking out of keefe holding the heavy cake i met 맥도날드 dude. he was like, 'oh what did you get?' and i was like ' um.. i think somebody got me a pleasant surprise? :)' hehe..
then i came back and did some reading, 'the namesake' by jhumpa lahiri. alot of stuff about indian immigrants... a little bit calm reading. maybe ill try the other book i borrowed later. than steph and sara went to val, i just ripped off another piece of the bread and had some olive oil... and its so filling even i had just a little! i was still really full. i had it with the new box wine i got from formaggio! yummy..but italian wines definitely have some acidity.maybe thats why its so good with food?

then i met up with sara and steph to go to this fireside worship thingie? from acf?i went becuz there was................

it was okay. i took a few bites and threw it away becuz it was too sweet. played the taboo game with people and hung out in keefe,than cohan, and then came back!
