cooking day!

난 오늘일찍 일어나서 wholefoods를 갓쥐! 9시 40분 버스를 잡아서 홀푸드로 슝슝. 아무도 없는 버스는 상큼. 아맞다! 그전에 잠깐 farmers market을 돌아보고 ㅋㅋㅋㅋ herbs and 잡다한걸 구경햇쥐!

아 아침에는 sculpin IPA랑 carrot cake을처음으로 먹엇쥐! 안에 walnuts도 많이 들어있고 cream cheese frosting도 달달하게맛잇엇지! ipa는 신기한맛이엇쥐!약간 진짜 lemony한, light한color에 상큼한 bitterness가 괜찮았지!carrot cake은 오빠의 탁월한 선택이었지. 생각해보니 내가 직접 carrot cake을 사먹은 적은 거의 없었지! 오빠가 아니엿으면 힘들엇겟지!

어쨋든 슝슝 wholefoods에서는 마침....wild alaskic? shrimp을 세일하고잇엇쥐. 그래서 난 오! 이건 신의계시다! 이러고 쉬림프를 12개를 샀지. 그리고 돌아다니면서 와인 구경을 하고...오늘은 특이한 jam marinated goat cheese를 시식하고 잇어서 하나 먹어주엇지. robusto도 한입 먹어주엇지. 그리고 바로 슝~하고 나갓지. 앗! 그리고 스페인 와인도 하나 샀지. evodia라는 아주 평이 좋은 와인이었는데....세일이엇어...참을 수없엇어...집는 나의 손을...멈출 수 없었어.... 어느새 계산대에서 난 와인과 블루베리 두 통과 아맞다...아보카도도 세일이었어.... 2개에 3불이었어....... 새우를 계산하고 있었지.. 

 그다음에느네 새라랑 슝슝 luncheon을 향해! the big tent! weather was beautiful...then..

 오늘의 메뉴! 사실 자세히 보면 별거 없지. 이름만 fancy하쥐.

 soda를 팔고 잇엇지!birch beer는 구렷지.

 새라가 샐러드랑 소세지들을 받고 있지.

 butternut squash salad.

 homemade kielbasa? 구렷음.

 bratwurst in beer? texture very rubbery, leathery bad.

 the cider braised chicken? was the juiciest! but i only took a bite..

 the breads were okay! the white ones were soft, good for dipping in apple butter!

다녀와서 오빠는 잠깐 자고, 나는 carrot케잌을 좀 잘라서 민주방에 들고가고, 거기서 중국어 단어공부좀하다가, 와인테이스팅을 하러고고고!
south african reds, it was full bodies mostly, one was really interestingly smokey. hoowowo but i bought another white! i dont know why im buying so many whites..maybe its because the food i eat (yogurt, avocado salads) are good with white wine, not red.

but, this the real bread! hungry ghost bread! rosemary sourdough! crusty outside bue chewy inside!

i sprinkled too much cayenne pepper at the end..but with roasted garlic and mint and fresh greens! it was amazing! i have rediscovered mint again..it has potential with salad....
